DEFINITION:
≥90% cover by intensive
turfgrass management in private & public uses. This is NOT the same as pasture,
hayfield, or unmanaged grass: turfgrass must be managed for ornamental or
recreational purposes by frequent mowing and other management interventions such
as irrigation and fertilization
